The hardest part of marketing isn’t building your list, creating a social media profile, or choosing the right tech tools to keep track of everything. (Although, all of those things do come with their own challenges!)
The hardest part is getting started. It’s overcoming all of those mental blocks that say things like:
- My branding isn’t right
- I need more blog posts
- I don’t know how to sound like a business
- My copy needs work
- I don’t have a list
- I don’t have any followers
- Nobody’s going to listen to me
- I need to finish XYZ course first…
You’re not alone. We’ve all felt that way. Heck, I feel that way writing this post, and I’ve been marketing for 15 years!
There’s one easy way to get past all of that, however: Take action.
Stop giving yourself reasons to procrastinate. You’ll never know if your copy works until you put it in front of a customer. You’ll never have social media followers if you never share your page.
Chances are, you don’t need another course or another challenge. (You may want to finish the last one you signed up for!)
If you’re stuck with analysis paralysis, just don’t know where to start, or need someone to hold you accountable, then you may need my new Market Ready program.
Yes, I know I just said you don’t need another course or challenge. That’s not what this is.
